Adjusting the transmitted-light DIC with
motorized four-position modulator
turret for transmitted light
•
On the nosepiece, swivel in the objective
suitable for DIC.
•
On the reflector turret, swivel in analyzer
module DIC ACR shiftfree for transmitted light.
•
On the modulator turret, swivel in the
appropriate DIC prism by
pressing
on knob

) for forward rotation or on knob

) for backward rotation of the turret.
•
Adjust the luminous-field diaphragm and
aperture diaphragm according to KÖHLER.

Set optimum contrast by turning knob

If desired, compensator

the slot for the analyzer slider located above the
nosepiece, so as to create a differential
interference contrast (DIC) in colours.
