3.5 Orifice and Expansion
Valve
Cooling Circuit
(g)
Remove and flash equalization line with nitrogen.
(h)
Remove expansion valve holding valve body with 19mm wrench.
(i)
Holding valve body with 19mm wrench install new valve.
(j)
Reconnect equalization line.
CAUTION
!
Before reconnecting check equalization line for
obstruction.
(k)
Clamp bulb to evaporator outlet line.
CAUTION
!
Tighten max 4Nm (35.4lb −in) or, sensing bulb
may be damaged.
(l)
Replace the filter drier 3.4
Section.
CAUTION
!
Filter drier is air ex-
posed during this procedure.
(m)
Connect refrigeration mani- fold
to contaminated part of cooling
circuit.
(n)
Vacuum contaminated part of
cooling circuit only.
(o)
With a vacuum gauge check
installation for leaks.
(p)
Restore unit operativity opening
shut-off valves.
