necessary.

This product is not designed or manufactured to be used in critical applications that
directly affect or threaten human lives. Such applications include nuclear power
equipment, devices using radioactivity, railway facilities, aviation equipment, air
navigation facilities, aviation facilities, and medical equipment. If so used, it is the
user’s responsibility to include in the system additional equipment and devices that
ensure personnel safety.

Modification of the product is strictly prohibited.

This product is intended to be handled by skilled/trained personnel for electric
devices.

When mounted on a DIN rail, attach the rail to a sufficiently strong steel sheet.

Install the product at locations away from burnable substances.

Power Supply
Ensure that the product’s supply voltage matches the voltage of the power supply before
turning ON the power. Use a power supply that complies with on-site safety standards.
Provide a switch or circuit breaker (*1) on the power line for disconnecting the
product from the main power supply. Also, attach an ON/OFF indication to the
switch or circuit breaker (*1) to indicate that it is a device for shutting off the power
supply to the product.

For permanent installation, supply power from the power supply terminal. USB
power supply can be used for temporary purposes.

Do Not Operate in an Explosive Atmosphere
Do not operate the instrument in locations with combustible or explosive gases or
dust. Operation in such environments constitutes an extreme safety hazard.

Do Not Remove Internal Unit
The internal unit should not be removed by anyone other than YOKOGAWA's
service personnel. There are dangerous high voltage parts inside.
・
Installation and Wiring
• To prevent electric shock while wiring, make sure that the power supply is turned off.
• To prevent electric shock, do not apply voltages that exceed the ratings to the
input terminals.
