4. Connection of ECU coupler.
• Check the locking condition of the coupler.
• Disconnect the coupler and check the pins (bent or broken terminals and locking condition of the
pins).
5. Wire harness continuity.
• Disconnect the rear wheel sensor coupler “1”, ABS ECU coupler “2” and ECU coupler “3”.
• Open circuit check
• Short circuit check
Is the coupler condition normal?
YES
→
Go to step 5.
NO
a. Connect the coupler securely or replace the wire harness.
b. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 07)
c. Rotate the rear wheel by hand and check that the indicated value increases.
Is that value increased?
YES
→
Go to step 20.
NO
→
Go to step 5.
Between rear wheel sensor coupler “1” and
ABS ECU coupler “2” black–black
white–white
Between ABS ECU coupler “2” and ECU cou-
pler “3”
white/yellow–white/yellow
Is resistance 0
Ω
?
YES
→
Go to “Short circuit check”.
NO
a. Replace the wire harness.
b. Execute the diagnostic mode. (Code 07)
c. Rotate the rear wheel by hand and check that the indicated value increases.
Is that value increased?
YES
→
Go to step 20.
NO
→
Go to “Short circuit check”.
