3. Install:

• guide pin

4. Lubricate:

• guide pin groove

• O-ring

(with the recommended lubricant)

5. Install:

• spring seat
• compression spring
• clutch shoe assembly
• clutch shoe assembly nut

NOTE:

Attach the sheave spring compressor

and

sheave fixed block

onto the secondary

sheave assembly as shown. Then, compress
the spring, and tighten the clutch shoe assem-
bly nut.

INSTALLING THE SECONDARY SHEAVE,
V-BELT AND PRIMARY SHEAVE

1. Install:

• V-belt

• secondary sheave assembly

CAUTION:

Do not allow grease to contact the V-belt
and the secondary sheave assembly.

NOTE:

• Install the V-belt onto the primary sheave

side.

• Install the V-belt with the printed arrow mark

on the V-belt facing in the direction shown in
the illustration.
