Caution notes
•
Do not drop or bend the RAM DIMM.
•
Do not touch the connector edge of the RAM DIMM.
•
Protect the RAM DIMM from static electricity by keeping it in its anti-
static package until you are ready to install it.
•
Avoid exposing the RAM DIMM to direct sunlight, high temperatures, or
humidity.
Installing RAM DIMMs
The DocuColor 4 LP video controller board ships with the following memory
configuration:
•
The DIMM slot numbered J23 is reserved for the printer’s system soft-
ware ROM DIMM.
•
The DIMM slot numbered J25 contains a 64MB RAM DIMM.
•
The remaining two slots, J22 and J24 are empty and can be used to install
additional memory.
J22 - Empty
J23 - ROM DIMM
J24 - Empty
J25 - 64MB RAM DIMM
Additional RAM DIMMs may be purchased for your printer/copier in 32 or
64MB configurations, allowing your printer/copier a maximum memory con-
figuration of 192MB.
The DocuColor 4 CP slots are empty and any of them can be used to install
additional memory
