Caution notes

Do not drop or bend the hard disk drive.
•
Do not touch the hard disk drive connector.
•
Protect the hard disk drive from static electricity by keeping it in its anti-
static package until you are ready to install it.
•
Avoid exposing the hard disk drive to direct sunlight, high temperatures,
or humidity.
To install a new hard disk drive:
Access the video controller board as described on page 125.
Unpack the new hard disk drive. Place it on a flat surface or on the palm
of your hand.
Do not touch the drive with magnetic objects or place objects sensitive
to magnets near the drive.
Attach the hard disk drive ribbon cable to the connector on the hard disk
drive.
Slide the bracket (with the hard disk drive attached) into the clips (1 and
2) next to the video controller board.
Move the LCD cable aside for more room.
