Collated and uncollated stapled sets will be delivered offset.
NOTE: The staple positions available are dependent on the type of finisher
installed.
Basic Office Finisher staples 2 - 30 sheets of 20lb paper. Other finishers staple 2 -
50 sheets of 20lb paper. The maximum number of sheets is 20 when stapling
heavyweight paper.
Booklet Maker
If your machine is fitted with the
Professional Finisher
the
Booklet Maker
option can
be used to fold and staple (saddle stitch) your output to produce booklets. The
Booklet Maker
options are as follows:
The paper sizes that can be used are A3, 11" x 17", A4, 8.5" x 11", 8.5" x 13" and
8.5" x 14".
All paper must be loaded short edge feed in the paper tray.
The media types that can be used are Plain Paper, Bond, Index and Cover.
If using the Folded and Stapled option, the maximum number of 20lb bond sheets
is 15.
If using the Folded Only option, the maximum number of 20lb bond sheets is 5.
The maximum number of sheets for both options is reduced when using heavier
weight paper.
HINT: For information about using the Booklet Creation option, refer to “Booklet
Creation” on page 4-19.
Multi-Staple
Use this option to add 3 or 4 staples to your output, depending on the size of
the paper being used. Multiple staples can be added to the Left Edge or
Right Edge of your output.
This option is only available on the Advanced Office Finisher and the
Professional Finisher.
Off
The
Booklet Maker
option is switched off.
Folded and Stapled
Use this option to fold and staple your booklet. The
Professional Finisher
will
place 2 staples on the spine of the booklet.
Folded Only
Use this option to fold your booklet output.
