Conditions
1.
The programmed Extension User Name will be displayed at called extensions whenever
intercom calls are made for one extension to another.
2.
Whenever there is no Extension User Name programmed, the characters “
EXT
” are dis-
played.
3.
When a User Name is programmed for extensions the “
EXT
” normally displayed at that
idle extension will be replaced with the programmed name.
4.
Names may be six (6) or fewer characters.
External Music Source
The system comes equipped with one 3.5mm mini-phono jack that supports one External
Music Source. The source of the music can be a CD player, radio, tape deck, or other Mes-
sage/Music On Hold source. Additionally, each digital speakerphone can monitor the music
source by enabling the Music-on-Hold feature, “ Feature
52 ”
It is the user’s responsibility to complying with all applicable music industry restrictions and
copyright laws.
External Paging

External Paging allows the user to make announcements over an ancillary paging device
(amplifier and speakers). When paging, one-way access is provided to an external page
amplifier or multi-zone page controller. Multi-zone operation is possible when an ancillary
multi-zone controller is connected to the system. The controller must accept/respond to
industry standard DTMF signaling.
Another way to access this feature is by using the Navigation Keys. Press the Left Naviga-
tion Key three times, or the Right one 5 times, until
PAGE
is displayed. Press the Up Navi-
gation Key for All Call Page, and the Down Navigation Key to select a group to page.
