Press the Feature button followed by 66 0 - 66 is a definable mailbox button and 0 is
the mailbox that is being defined. For other mailboxes please refer to the department
programming section.

Extension
Programming
At default, the voice processing system comes with 30 individual extensions and 9 depart-
ment extensions. Additional extensions may be added for users that may not have a phys-
ical telephone, but would like to have voice mail messaged left at the office for them. They
will have a “Virtual Extension”.

The system will confirm that it is using two digit extension numbers. Press

to confirm this but DO NOT CHANGE THIS PARAMETER!

Add multiple extensions - Enter the beginning and the end numbers of
the group of extensions to be added. For example, 35 ~ 40.

Add one extension at a time - Enter the extension to be added.
Use the following steps to create a “Virtual Extensoin”:
1.
Enter Administrative programming
2.
Make sure that the extensions have been created.
3.
Enter the mailbox using
7*
plus
*
and the mailbox number, and mailbox password.
Select
9
for Direct Message Delivery.
From the Auto Attendant, if the extension number is dialed, the caller will go directly to the
mailbox.
To transfer the caller directly to the mailbox, the attendant will dial, Transfer,

and
the mailbox number and then hang up. The outside caller should hear the subscriber’s
personal greeting.
Subscriber without extensions will pick up their messages remotely by dialing
*
plus the
mailbox number and then their password.
