Supported Assembly data

Assemblies are collections of data attributes and are optimized for high performance and a low tele-
gram overhead. The SP-COP2-ENI module supports a series of predefined, static assembly instances
for input and output data. Access is possible via various instances of the CIP assembly object. In ad-
dition, access is possible both via the implicit and explicit message transmission. The assembly size
is variable. It is thus possible to request parts of an assembly. The following table (
sembly databytes of the SP-COP2-ENI module [ch. 8.5.1, p. 97]
) offers an overview of the supported as-
sembly instances and the meaning of the transmitted data.
