5.15 Configuring the USM Go for test 

tasks 

Besides the default settings for the instrument opera-
tion, you have to configure the USM Go for calibration 
and test tasks. You will find functions for this purpose 
primarily in the function groups 

EVAL

, 

CONFIG1

, and 

CONFIG2

 on the second operating level.

You will find the function 

TOF MODE

 in the function 

groups 

GATE A

 and 

GATE B

 on the first operating 

 

level.

Moreover, you have to check and, if necessary, correct 
the current date and time so that this information is 
stored correctly together with the test results. 

TOF MODE

The sound path measurement by means of the echo 
evaluation depends on the choice of the measuring 
point.
