4.10 Installing the Lifting Cable
Requirements

Loctite® 243
■
Torque wrench
Procedure Perform the procedure below to install the lifting cable.
1. Apply Loctite® 243 to the four socket head screws (b) . Set the brace (d) and the
lifting cable (a) into position and fasten the lifting cable using the four socket
head screws (b) and the two nuts (c) . Torque the screws to 41 Nm (30 ft.lbs.).
Result The lifting cable has now been installed.
