Installing and removing the looper cover
The looper cover is installed, for example, when sewing 2-thread overlock
seams. Take note of the following:
•
The looper cover is always installed on the rear upper hook (1st
t
hread
path - RED).
•
Before installing the looper cover, the thread must be removed from the
1st
t
hread path (RED) completely.
•
Sewing with the looper cover has the advantage of
using up
less
thread.
W6 Tip
The fabric must be suitable for sewing with the looper cover.
Attention: Please take a look at chapter 12.1 – stitch types and their use.

Installing the looper cover
Prerequisite:
•
The looper cover is used to create a two thread
overlock seam
•
Please remove the red thread.
•
The looper cover must be positioned on the upper
looper (red thread path)
•
The looper cover reduces the thread consumption of
the overlock
•
Please choose a suitable fabric. (Chapter 12)
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to an unexpected start-up
The foot controller is on the floor. This can lead to the overlocker starting up
unexpectedly if the foot controller is activated by, for example, a child, a
sufficiently heavy pet, an object or accidental contact.

before installing the
looper cover.

Slide the small bolt of the looper cover into the hole at the tip of
the upper
looper.
