Place a small piece of thick fabric beneath the presser foot.

This will
prevent
the possibility of a needle falling into the machine.

Lower the needle by means of the hand wheel until it lightly touches the
fabric.
4.
Loosen the needle clamp by means of the Allen key.

Be sure
to
only
loosen the screw and not remove it.
5.
Hold the needle securely
between
your fingers and set the
‹presser
foot release lever›
in the lower position.
!
The needle bar lifts. In doing so, the needle remains stuck in the
fabric.

If you remove only one needle
,
you should definitely tighten the
needle clamp screw gentl
y to ensure
that it is not lost.

Make sure to
select an appropriate needle. Use only W6 WERTAR-BEIT
ELx705
s
ize 80 needles for this overlocker.

The overlocker sews
using
two needles. One for the “orange” and one
for the “blue” thread. As the
procedure for the removal
is identical,
it is
described here only once.
