check it from all sides.

Removing needles
W6 Tip
The overlocker
uses
two needles. One for the “orange” and one for the
“blue” thread. As the
procedure for the
removal of both needles is
identical,
it is described here only once.
Prerequisite:
•
Have the Allen key ready at hand.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to an unexpected start-up
The foot controller is on the floor. This can lead to the overlocker starting up
unexpectedly if the foot controller is activated by, for example, a child, a
sufficiently heavy pet, an object or accidental contact.
►
Always unplug the
device from the mains
before
exchanging a needle.
CAUTION
Risk of injury posed by breaking needles
If the needle is inserted incorrectly, it can break and damage the over-locker.
There is a risk of injury posed by uncontrolled moving parts.
►
Always change the needle in
accordance with the instructions provided in
this manual.
Please follow the steps below
:
1.
Turn the
‹hand wheel›
forwards (towards you), until the needles are in the
top-most
position.
