3.4.2 Cleaning mattresses with the Kobold PB440
Electric Upholstery Brush and the Mattress Cleaning Set
MP440/MR440
To clean mattresses, use your Kobold PB440 Electric Upholstery Brush
with the Mattress Freshener MP440 and the Mattress Vacuumer MR440
instead of the normal suction nozzle. For regular vacuum cleaning of mattresses,
the MR440 mattress cleaning set is recommended.
We recommend Lavenia for cleaning mattresses. Lavenia not only easily
removes dust, but also bacteria, mite faeces and mould spores to a large
extent. Lavenia received the TÜV NORD certificate “Suitable for Allergic
People”.
Lavenia is not suitable for stain removal. Please use Kobotex for this
purpose. Observe the leaflets included with Lavenia and Kobotex.
Lavenia can be used with all mattresses with textile and solid surfaces.
One bag of Lavenia is enough for a thorough cleaning of a single mattress.
Use 2 bags for a double mattress.
Lavenia can be purchased from the Mail Order department (see chapter
“8 Services” on page 99).
