High Temperature Alarm 

The enclosure is equipped with a high-temperature alarm thermostat.  The alarm setting is 65C.

Optimal Cooling Locations for Rack-Mount Equipment  

The ideal cooling location in the equipment rack is RU's 10-19 (from bottom of EQ rack).  But near-optimal cooling can be achieved in 
any location RU's 1-19. See Figure 16.2. 

Cooling can always be improved by closing off open areas in the EQ rack with blanking plates, to prevent recirculation of equipment 
exhaust air directly back into the equipment intakes.
