2.4.4 Host Serial Port J6

The Host Serial Port is used to interface the 990 dCLD II to a PLC or computer via an
RS-232 connection. Table 2-10 and Figure 2-7 provide details of the connection.

J6 connections are referenced to the chassis ground and are not isolated. Electrical charac-
teristics comply with EIA/TIA Standard EIA/TIA-232-E.
