If the recipient’s phone does not support short message function, when it
gets a message, the message will be treated as an ordinary call.

Note:

If the preset
‘Sent Beep”
is OFF, the phone will display
“Mute”
and
will not play sent beep in step 8 (Please refer to section
“Setting Sent
Beep”
).

In step 8, you can save the edited message to Out Box by pressing
.
•
You can also resend a message from the dialed record.
6.2.2 Resuming Composing a Message
•
If composing message is interrupted, the entered data will be saved
automatically. You can resume editing by selecting
“Editing Data”
to
load the data, edit and send it.
1. Press
, to display the editing data screen.
•
If there is no saved editing data, “Editing Data” will be grayed out
and cannot be selected.

“Composing a New Message”
Step 2-8 to edit
and send the message.

Note:
•
“Editing Data” can only save one message data.
•
If you have entered a “NEW” text input screen, data in “Editing
Data” will be lost.
6.2.3 Reading/Forwarding a Message
•
You can read a short message in your SMS Box and forward it.
1. Press
to display
“Retrieve”
menu.
2. Press
to select the Box that saves the message you need press
, to display the SMS list.
•
If the sender’s phone number is in the phone book, it will be
displayed.
: Indicates unread message.
