6. Short Message Service (Needs Network Support)
6.1 Brief Introduction to SMS
•
Short message service needs network support to work effectively.
•
SMS is text message sent and received between PAS phones (both the
sender’s and the receiver’s phones must have this feature). It can send up to
45 alphabets or 90 alphanumeric characters; it can receive 60 alphabets or
120 alphanumeric characters.
•
Sent or received messages are all saved in SMS Box. Out Box and In Box
can save 40 and 60 messages respectively.
•
SMS feature can be used only when the phone is under
“Public”
or
“Group/Public”
mode.
•
Maximum character number for sending a short message are as shown
below

6.2 Sending a Message
•
It can send up to 45 Alphabets or 90 alphanumeric characters.
•
You can add an animation /frame to make it more vivid.
