Port Configuration
•
Web Port
: This is the port that you will use to log in remotely to the HVR (e.g. using the Web Client). If the default
port 80 is already taken by other applications, please change it.
•
Client Port
: This is the port that the HVR will use to send information through. If the default port 9000 is already
taken by other applications, please change it.
•
RTSP Port: Default is 554,
if the default port 554 is already taken by other applications, please change it.
•
UPNP
: If you want to log in remotely to the HVR using Web Client, you need to complete the port forwarding.
Enable this option if your router supports the UPnP. You need to enable UPnP both, on HVR and router. In this
case, you do not need to configure manually port forwarding on your router. If your router does not support
UPnP, make sure the port forwarding is completed manually
3.8.2
DDNS SET
DDNS (or Dynamic DNS, see the glossary for more information), is a service that register a domain name and the floating
IP address with the DDNS server so that the domain name can be routed to the IP address even if the IP address is
changed in a dynamic IP system.
User can visit a remote HVR by using DDNS on above three types (Static, DHCP and PPPoE)

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Before getting Urmet DDNS1 ID or DDN2 ID make sure that user password is enabled,
otherwise it cannot continue with Urmet DDNS ID getting procedure.
Check that the DDNS function is enabled and that the URMETDDNS server is selected. Click on the
Get
button and wait
for ten seconds or so for the HVR ID to be generated. This is needed for remote access via the URMET web portal (see
figure below).
