Remove the Damaged Belt
Use ESD precautionary measures when handling the PCA Flex Jet
Control and associated cabling.
1.
Remove cable ties as necessary to remove the Z Stop Clutch cable
(10PL) and the Z Stop Brake cable (11PL) from the PCA Flex Jet
Control.

2.
Remove the 2 screws holding the Shield Bracket and remove the
bracket. Refer to the diagram above.
3.
Loosen the 2 set screws on the Z Stop Clutch and remove the clutch.
4.
Loosen the adjustment screw on the Tensioner Assembly, then push
back the Tensioner Assembly and tighten the screw to create belt slack.
5.
Remove the 4 screws, washers, and lock washers securing Brake
Bracket to the Platform Assembly and remove the Z Stop Brake with
the Brake Bracket attached.
6.
Loosen the 2 set screws securing the Z Stop Brake pressure plate to the
shaft and remove the pressure plate. Then remove the belt from all 3
pulleys.
Install the New Belt
1.
Install the new belt on the 3 pulleys.
2.
Install the Z Stop Brake pressure plate to the lower shaft and tighten the
2 set screws Ensure that the set screws are on the flats of the shaft.
3.
Install the Z Stop Brake with the Brake Bracket attached on the lower
shaft and tighten the 4 screws, washers, and lock washers to secure the
Brake Bracket to the Platform Assembly. Make sure to center the
Brake on the pressure plate before tightening the screws.
