4.9

PROGRAMMING

ANCILLARY RELAY SUPERVISION

4.9.1 FUNCTION

This function enables or disables the "ANCILLARY RELAY" output supervision function.

When enabled, the "ANCILLARY" output must be wired for supervision otherwise a fault will
be detected.

* DEFAULT:

DISABLED

4.9.2 OPERATING

STEPS

While in ZONE ENABLED/DISABLED programming mode,

Press the "SELECT" key until the green ANCILLARY RELAY

"SEL" LED is turned ON.

Press the "ISOLATE" key to toggle supervision state.

Amber "ISO" LED turned ON = Supervision DISABLED

-

Amber "ISO" LED turned OFF = Supervision ENABLED

ISOLATE

SELECT

Press the "SELECT" key to move to other zones or press "TEST", "RESET", or
"SILENCE" keys to perform other programming functions.

* * PLEASE NOTE * *

Upon exiting the "PROGRAMMING MODE" using the "SELECT" key (ie SAVE
PARAMETERS), the "ANCILLARY RELAY" will automatically be ISOLATED, if the
supervision state had been toggled between disabled and enabled.
