Business Services Meter

Level Correction

The 

Level Correction

 setting is used 

to set the downstream correction level. 

This is similar to a calibration factor to 

compensate for loss between the Input F 

Connector and the Internal Cable Modem. 
The default setting for 

Level Correction

 

is 

Automatic

. The level correction can 

be set from a minimum of 0.0 dB up to a 

maximum of 4.0 dB.
Use either of the following methods to 

change the level correction of the cable 

modem:

•  Use the up/down arrow buttons 

to change the value in 0.1 dB 

increments.

•  Press the

 Ent

er button and use

 

the

 

Virtual Keyboard

 to directly enter 

the level correction as shown in the 

image to the right.
