This calculator should only be used for Transition Networks' Ethernet Over 2-Wire Extender With 
PoE+ to provide approximate maximum distance and power calculation. Actual results may vary 
due to cable quality and other conditions. To accommodate for variations, we recommend reducing 
cable length by 5% or reducing power by 2-3%. This calculation is valid for Unshielded Twisted Pair 
(UTP) cable only.
