Powersaving
Inactivity detection mode
: at the dropdown, select Disabled or ETH link (enabled by
Ethernet link) or ETH activity (enabled by Ethernet activity) as the power save trigger.
The default is Disabled.
Inactivity time(s)
: e.g., 300 seconds of inactivity will cause the EO2P to enter the
Powersaving mode (only if Inactivity detection mode is set to Enabled). This “idle timer”
default is 300 seconds. The valid range is 10 - 999 seconds.

Ok
: Click the
Ok
button to accept the current page parameter changes.
Cancel
: Click the
Cancel
button to negate the current page parameter changes and revert
to the default parameter settings.
Log Out
: Click the
Log Out
button to exit EO2P Web Configuration.
Ethernet page Messages

Meaning
: At the
Ethernet
page, you misconfigured the Inactivity time parameter.
Recovery
:

. At Ethernet > Powersaving > Inactivity time (s), set the Inactivity Time (Idle
Timer) to a valid setting in the range of 10-999 seconds.

. Click the
Ok
button to accept the
current page parameter changes.
Issue
: Ethernet Powersaving Mode drops 2 Wire communications.
Meaning
: With the Powersaving feature enabled on the remote unit (either ETH Link or ETH
ACTivity) when the inactivity time expires, communication over the 2 Wire drops.
This prevents managing the Remote unit from the Local unit until the link or activity is
restored. The expectation is that only the remote Ethernet port should be affected by this
feature.
