If you select [[FFiifftthh sstta attiioonn p plla annee]] from the drop-down list, choose a specific named plane from
the list or enter your own plane name.
To apply the plane toner only to specific objects, select [[SSp peecciiffiieed d oob bjjeeccttss]].
If you select [[N Noonnee]], any special plane used is processed using CMYK values.
3. Go to [[PPlla annee p prriioorriittyy]] to set which plane has priority over each other. This field is only displayed
when you select [[FFiifftthh sstta attiioonn p plla annee]] from the [[PPrroocceessssiinng g tta arrg geett]] drop-down list.
Each toner is called a colorant and the data that specifies the amount of toner that is applied at
each pixel position on the side is called a colorant plane.
4. Go to [[A Ad djjuusstt ttoonnee]] and enter a value from
0
to
100
%.
5. Go to [[PPrriinntt p prriioorriittyy]] and set it to [[Q Quua alliittyy]] or [[SSp peeeed d]]. When the print mode is set to [[SSp peeeed d]],
the amount of special effect toner is reduced to enable a faster printing speed.
6. Go to [[PPa ag gee rra anng gee]] and enter the range of pages to print with special effect toner.
Setting White Toner Properties
When [[W Whhiittee]] is the [[SSp peecciia all eeffffeecctt ttoonneerr]] installed.
1. Click on the left side of the screen.
2. Go to the [[PPrroocceessssiinng g tta arrg geett]] control and select one of these options:

• [[SSp peecciiffiieed d oob bjjeeccttss]]
