3.2 Before Working
Before working, always check for the following work condition and method.
Work condition
• Work in a place with less moisture and dust and no direct sunlight.
• Do not give a rapid temperature change which allows condensation to occur.
• Ensure to power off the type1 light before working.
• Use of working gloves is recommended to avoid fingers getting cut.
• Static electricity may cause breakage of electronic parts. Touch a grounded metal to
discharge static electricity from your body before working.
Tool preparation
• Please prepare a #2 Phillips screwdriver having a shaft length of 150 mm or more in
order to tighten and loosen the screw for attaching the module or the top bracket.
Work method
• Do not touch except the portions necessary for the work.
• Be careful not to lose the removed screws. Do not drop them inside the type1 light
modules, the units, or the housing case.
• In case of an error or failure, consult with our service representative.
• Printed circuit boards have sharp pointed parts. Prevent injury to your hands.
• When using drivers for connecting connectors or mounting modules and units,
ensure to use a driver suitable to the screw. A driver unsuitable to the screw is
unstable in the cross recess due to a gap. Forcibly using an unsuitable driver to the
screw does not transmit force well, causing the cross recess to strip.

Caution
(1) Never disassemble modules, units, and adapters.
Otherwise, this can go out of order.
(2) Ensure to work with the T series migration system
powered off. There is a danger of burnout or electric
shock.
