Replace the wire harness for the alternator and 
temperature sending units.  

Replace the wire harness for the alternator and 
temperature sending units.  

 

Replace the wire bundle going to the rear of the 
engine, using the “P” clamps mounted to the 
engine plate. Route the vacuum line and oil 
pressure wire back to their location and re-
connect both.   

 

Install the main battery cable, charging wire, and 
glow plug power cable back the main lug of the 
starter. Attach the yellow start wire to the starter 

solenoid. Replace the wires for the Glow Plug 
Timer Relay. 

 

Return the fuel lines to their correct location on 
the fuel block. Connect the red fuel shut off wire 
to the solenoid.  

 

Prime the fuel system by cracking the rear fitting 
(19mm wrench) on the fuel block and depressing 

the fuel pump prime lever until fuel drips from 
the fitting. Tighten the fitting enough to seat the 
crush washers.
