When installing the shaft housings to the case,
you MUST install the short M12 bolts in the top
two holes, as the longer bolts will bottom out in
the case before tightening the shaft housings and
damage to the case may occur. The longer 4
bolts only need be threaded in at this point.
Inspect the gear teeth for signs of wear. The
reverse gears have beveled teeth that assist in
engagement. If there is any damage, these
gears should be replaced.
Set the differential into the bearing race. The flat
side of the final gear faces up ( ) and is
positioned onto the center bearing. The
secondary shaft with low gear installed between
the snap rings, should seat into the case’s center
bearing.
The large steel spacer ( ) can be set on the
case’s top bearing next. Set the small cog with
the ridge facing upward on top of the spacer.
