Usual parts that need to be changed at renovation
1.
At the bottom of the absorber change the O-
ring (1), oil-seal (2) and wiper (3) on the
shock seal housing (4).
2.
At the top of the absorber change the O-ring
(1) on the shock gas piston (2).
3.
Change the O-ring (3) in the cap (4).
Check and replace any other damaged
components either from wear or incident.
4.
Before beginning, make sure you have all the
parts needed.
Shock absorber (TM4370, TM4380) - disassembly and renovation
1.
The only difference between TM4370 and TM4380 is the spring diameter.
TM4370 - 12mm.
TM4380 - 13.5mm.
2.
Secure the shock absorber in a vice (Do not
to lock the vice jaw on the ball joint).
3.
Depress the air piston to remove the
pressurized air.
