Shock Absorber Replacement

 

Shock Absorber Replacement

 

1.

 

Remove the bolt and nut at the top of the 

shock absorber (1).

Remove the bolt and nut at the top of the 

shock absorber (1). 

2.

 

Remove the bolt and nut at the bottom of the 
shock absorber (2). 

2.

 

Remove the bolt and nut at the bottom of the 
shock absorber (2). 

  

Note: If there is a problem removing the shock 

absorber out of the a-arm area; disconnect the lower 
a-arm from the lower ball-joint, this will provide more 

Note: If there is a problem removing the shock

Tech Tip

 

When removing a shock remove the o-rings and bushings before removing 
the shock. When installing the shock, install the bushings and o-rings just 

before you set the shock into the mounts.
