Activate Steri-Run
The Steri-Run sterilization routine is used to sterilize the complete workspace.
1. Press the Steri-Run key.
• The Steri-Run instruction menu is displayed.

2. Steri-Run menu - Exit and stop Steri-Run:
• Press the End key.
• The system returns to the main menu.
3. Activating Steri-Run:
• Press the START key.
• The Steri-Run-Progress dialog window is displayed.
4. To air the workspace, open both device doors until the audible alarm sounds after 30 seconds.
5. Remove all cultures from the workspace.
6. Drain water from the reservoir, wipe up any residual water.
7. Screw the additional gas inlet filter into the overpressure opening.
8. When the audible timer alarm is sounded, close both device doors.
• Start Steri-Run.
• The cycle of the Steri-Run sterilization routine starts. The device heats up, and the
electromechanical door lock engages at 65°C.
• While the Steri-Run sterilization routine is running, the display shows the current status and
outputs the following information:
• temperature,
• start time,
• phase,
Note

Before starting the sterilization run, the two silicon plugs inside and outside the access port must be
fitted on the access port.

The silicon plug on the outside should cover the free space inside the access port.
