Cleaning and Disinfection
Cleaning
Cleaning Exterior Surfaces:
1. Thoroughly remove dirt residues and deposits using a solution of tepid water and dishwashing soap.
2. Wipe the surfaces clean using a clean cloth and clear water.
3. Then, wipe the surfaces dry using a clean cloth.

CAUTION
Incompatible cleaners!

Some device components are made of plastic. Solvents can dissolve plastics. Strong acids or caustic
solutions can cause the plastics to become brittle. Do not use any solvents containing hydrocarbons
or strong acids or alkalis to clean the plastic parts and surfaces!


Moisture-sensitive components!

Do not spray the filter materials areas of the four supply air filters or the grid of the HEPA filter on
the rear wall filter enclosure, including its edges, with any chemical agent. When wiping the device
clean, always make sure that moisture does not enter into these components.
Note
Contamination

In order to avoid contamination of the incubator or cultures, cleaning and disinfection of the
equipment must be carried out after a contamination has occurred.
