2.4.5.6
Connecting Environmental Sensors (option)
Environmental sensors e.g. for temperature, intrusion or smoke are optionally used. The used sen-
sors depend on local facilities and are defined during the engineering period on site. The inputs are
available at connector J10 on top of the cabinet. For temperature measurement inputs of connector
J10 (outside/inside) it is recommended to use the sensor AD590 (0 V = 10 °C) which is supplied with
−15 V by J10/pin 7. This sensor is supported by the internal measurement circuit. Other sensors have
to be adapted. Inputs for alarm intrusion and smoke detector are recommended to switch to ground:
open switch means high level (5V) to the LCP input, closed means low level (0V).
2.4.5.7
Connecting Signals from/to AG/MON/ECU SPARE I/O (option)
This connector option is normally not used.
2.4.5.8
Connecting Voice Signal for VAM (option)
The voice signal is connected via a two wire line: Connect external voice signal cable to pin 9 and 28
of the SubD, 37pin male plug which may be connected already to connector J10 on top of the cabinet.
2.4.5.9
Connecting to serial Interface COM4/NDB (option)
This connector allows to achieve a serial data connection to an associated equipment. Connect the
RS232 cable with SubD, 9pin male connector from associated equipment to connector J22 on top
of the cabinet.
