Power-on and Power-off Procedures

PRISM MPS Installation and Safety Instructions

Note:

The power button illuminates during the power-on sequence and then turns

off during normal instrument operation.

Power-off Procedure

Press the power button

to turn the instrument off.

CAUTION: To prevent data loss, we strongly recommend you first shut down the

instrument before disconnecting the power cord. Press the power button or

select

Settings

Utilities

Power

, and then

Power Down Now

To completely remove power from the instrument, disconnect the power cord from

the instrument. The power cord has a locking mechanism to keep it attached to the

instrument. Push the button on the cord housing to release the locking

mechanism.
