PRISM MPS Installation and Safety Instructions
Electrical power requirements
The instrument operates from an AC or DC power input. Check that your location
provides the proper electrical power requirements as listed in the tables MPS-100/-200/
-300 AC Power Requirements and MPS-100/-200/-300 DC Power Requirements.
AC line power
Use the proper power cord with the instrument. Table MPS-100/-200/-300 AC Power
Requirements list the power requirements for the instruments.
DC power
Use the proper battery type with the instrument. The MPS-100/-200/-300 DC Power
Requirements table lists the power requirements for the instrument.
Note:
A battery that can provide 12 amps continuous operation is required to power
the product.
WARNING: In the instrument, only the line conductor is fused for over-current
protection. The fuse is internal and not user replaceable. Do not attempt to
replace the fuse. If you suspect the fuse has blown, return the unit to an
authorized service center for repair.
