PRISM MPS Installation and Safety Instructions
This instrument was designed to be used with batteries that use a Gold Mount, or Sony
or IDX V-mount style of battery. See the MPS-PTBL Installation and Safety Manual for
details on how to attach the battery mount to the MPS battery bracket.
WARNING: Fire can cause personal injury and property damage. To prevent risk
of fire, when using a 12-volt DC source, make sure that it has a suitable current
limiting device (such as a fuse).
WARNING: Risk of personal injury and property damage from falling
instrument. Batteries from different manufacturers vary in shape and weight.
When a battery is installed, it can make the unit too heavy in the back and cause
the instrument to tip backwards.
CAUTION: Before using the battery Power Tap feature, refer to the product
information included with the battery. If that information is not available,
contact the battery manufacturer for information.
