INTERCEPTOR 147 2 Mbit/s and Data Analyzer
ERROR INSERT
ERROR INSERT is used to generate and insert errors into
the transmitted signal. (For information regarding the
type of error that is inserted, see the Error Type item in the
AUXILIARY setup category.)
To insert a single error, press ERROR INSERT once. To
insert a constant 10

error ratio in the transmitted stream,
hold down ERROR INSERT until the LED illuminates.
To stop inserting errors, press ERROR INSERT again so
that the LED extinguishes.
2.3 STATUS DATA INTERFACE
The LEDs in the left (TRANSMIT) column illuminate to
indicate which interface is being used on the transmit side.
The LEDs in the right (RECEIVE) column illuminate to
indicate which interface is being used on the receive side.
Following are some examples showing which LEDs are
illuminated for various configurations. (For more
information regarding the setup referred to in the examples,
see Section 3, Setup Categories.)
