Install the 80A05 Clock Recovery Module into Channel 1 of the instrument.

Install the 80E02 Sampling Module into Channels 3 and 4 of the instrument.

Connect a less than 2 ns delay, 50

Ω

coaxial cable between the 1/32 CLK

signal output of the pattern generator and the TRIGGER DIRECT INPUT
connector on the instrument.

Install 2 10X (20 dB) SMA electrical attenuators (in series, creating 100X
attenuation) on the ELECTRICAL INPUT IN+ of the 80A05 Module.

Connect a less than 2 ns delay, 50

Ω

coaxial cable between the DATA +

OUTPUT of the pattern generator and the ELECTRICAL INPUT IN+ of the
