Do not attempt to carry a cabinetized instrument without installing the mounting
screws. Without the mounting screws there is nothing to hold the instrument in
the cabinet if it is tipped forward.
The instrument is secured to the cabinet by two 6-32 Pozidrive
r
screws, located
in the upper corners of the rear panel. See Figure 3-7.

The optional 1700F05 side-by-side rack adapter, shown in Figure 3-8, consists of
two attached cabinets. It can be used to mount the 1730-Series and another
half-rack width instrument in a standard 19-inch rack.
