8.2.4 Ending Play

If you wish to stop playing a recording, press the
green function key
. The playback function is termina-
ted and your receiver reverts to normal operation.
8.3 Managing the hard drive

Press the
Menu
key to display the
Main Menu.

Use the
up/down arrow keys
to mark the line
Hard
drive organizing.

Confirm by pressing

to move the markers
around within the menu, and to change the various
positions.
8.3.1 Managing recordings
In this menu (Fig. 8-5) you have the opportunity to manage
your recordings.

Press
OK
to go to the sub-menu
Manage recordings.
A list will be displayed showing all the recordings on
the hard drive.

Use the
up/down arrow keys
to mark the desired pro-
gramme.
8.3.1.1 Delete

To delete the selected recording, press the
red func-
tion key Delete.

Confirm the following message by pressing
OK
, to
actually delete the recording.
8.3.1.2 Parental control
You can block access to recordings that are not suitable for
children or adolescents. These recordings can then be played
back only after entry of the 4-digit unit PIN code. For the
parental control function to be active, it must be switched on
as described in Point 8.3.

To block access to the marked recording, press the
green function key.
The selected recording will then
be marked as blocked, indicated by the parental con-
trol symbol.
8.3.1.3 Editing

Press the
yellow function key Editing
to go to the
menu related to editing of the marked hard drive recor-
ding.

Use the
coloured keys
to go directly to specific sec-
tions of the recording.
>
Press the
green function key
to open a window sho-
wing the available functions.
>
Use the up/down arrow keys to select the desired
function, and confirm by pressing
OK.
