10. Maintenance
Changing the transmission chains
If there is the need to repair the transmissions, proceed as follows:
1. Support the equipment using the jacks (A);
2. Totally retreat the hydraulic cylinder to lift the tire from the soil;
3. Release the protection covers;
4. It is not necessary to release all the sprocket set, just release the chain tighteners (B).
Right after, remove the chain that is in need of a repair.
5. After repairing or replacing the chain, return it to its original position and adjust the
tighteners until the chain is totally stretched out.

6. The transmission chains leave the
factory pre-adjusted according to the
distance between the sprocket axles. If
any maintenance, amendment (C) repair
or reductions (D) are needed, remove the
cotter pin (E) to remove some amendments,
reductions or links.
- Keep the chains with proper tension
and alignment using the chain
tighteners. This procedure will avoid
damages and vibration problems on
the system.
