8. Longitudinal transportation
6. After hitching the drawbar (G) to the
tractor three-point hitch (as indicated on the
'hitching to the tractor' page on this section),
couple it to the right hand side wheel of the
equipment using a pin (H), nut and counter
nut;
7. Loosen up the pins (I) that locks the
wheels (J) to the front and rear supports and
let them touch the soil, also avoiding to be
underneath the wheels (J);
8. Lift the jacks (K);
9. With the help of the tractor hydraulic
system, lift one side of the equipment until the
wheels (J) are on transport position and lock
again using pins (I) and locks;
10. Loosen up the drawbar (G) from the
left hand side wheel and hitch it on the other
side of the equipment; lift it so it is possible to
transport it.
- Avoid to be between the tractor and equipment during the hitching process.
