8. Longitudinal transportation
Setting up the longitudinal transportation
For hitching to the longitudinal transportation, follow some important steps to avoid
damages to the equipment:
1. Totally lift the row units using the cylinders and lock them using the transport locks
(A) to avoid that the row units go down;
2. Lift the row markers and lock them using the transport locks (B);
3. Totally retreat the wheel support cylinder;

- The extensor (C) and the other
components that were removed
from the drawbar must remain
near the equipment or on an
easy-to-access place.
- The transport locks are important
safety accessories, as they
can prevent damages to the
equipment during transportation.
IMPORTANT
NOTE
4. Remove the extensor (C) that locks
the drawbar (D) to the frame (E) by
loosening up the cotter pins;
5. Articulate the drawbar (D) to the
frame (E) using the pin (F). Use a hoist to
articulate the drawbar;
