CONTROLS & FEATURES – Rear Window Defroster

REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER

Some Indigo models are equipped with a rear window defroster/defogger.  The 

switch,  1,  is  located  on  the  accessory  switch  panel  to  the  right  of  the  steering 

wheel.
When the driver presses the rear window defroster switch, the indicator light will 

illuminate in the defroster switch to show the defroster is operating.  The defroster 

will operate for approximately fifteen (15) minutes and then automatically shut 

off.  Pressing the switch again before the fifteen minutes expire will also stop the 

defroster.   The indicator lamp in the switch will go out to show the rear window 

defroster is no longer operating.
