MAINTENANCE AND CARE – Bulb Replacement
Registration Plate Lamps
Use the following procedure to replace the registration plate lamps:
Switch all lighting “OFF”. Engage the parking brake and raise the trunk
lid.
Locate the defective bulb in the trunk lid and rotate the bulb until the
locating tabs release and the bulb can be removed.
Replace the bulb with an identical 12 volt, 5 watt bulb and reinstall.
Side Turn Indicator Lamps
The side turn indicators use 12 volt, 5 watt bulbs. Use the following procedure
to replace the bulbs in the side turn indicator lamps:
Switch all lighting “OFF” and engage the parking brake.
Using a plastic trim tool and a cloth to protect the paint, carefully disengage
the side retaining catch and pull the lamp away from the fender.
Remove the defective bulb from the lens and replace with an identical
replacement bulb.
Push the lamp back into the fender until the catch locks into place.
Roof Lamps
The front roof lamps use 12 volt, 10 watt bulbs and the rear roof lamps use 12
volt, 5 watt bulbs. Use the following procedure to replace the bulbs in the front
roof lamps:
Switch the lamp “OFF”.
Gently grasp the lamp and pull down from the roof until the locking tabs
release.
Replace the defective bulb with an identical replacement bulb.
Push the lamp back into the roof until the lamp locks into place.
