HVAC System Operation Tips
Quick Cooling or Heating
Whenever quick cooling or heating of the vehicle cabin is desired,
place the air recirculation switch to the “ON” position.
Defogging
Whenever air humidity is high, mist may form on the inside of the
windshield, fogging and obstructing the driver’s view. To clear the
mist/fog set the HVAC system controls as follows:

3 (High) or 4 (Maximum)

ON (dehumidifies air)

OFF (Fresh Air)
Defrosting
Whenever heavy frost or snow has accumulated on the vehicle
windshield, set the HVAC system controls as follows:

OFF (Fresh Air)
NOTE
Fresh air is taken in from the grill opening beneath the
windshield glass. For proper air flow and maximum HVAC
system efficiency, keep this are free from debris and snow.
