MAINTENANCE AND CARE – Bulb Replacement
BULB REPLACEMENT
Front Turn Indicators
The front turn indicators, 1, are located in the head lamp assembly. When the
turn indicators flash irregularly, a burnt bulb may be indicated. Replace the turn
indicator bulb with an identical amber 12 volt, 21 watt bulb.
To change the front turn indicators, use the following procedure:
Switch all lighting “OFF”. Engage the parking brake, raise the bonnet,
and allow time for the lighting to cool if hot.
Disconnect the wiring harness socket from the defective bulb.
Unlock the defective bulb by rotating and remove from the head lamp
assembly.
Install the replacement bulb into the head lamp assembly, making sure
the bulb locating tabs are aligned. Rotate the bulb to lock in place.
Connect the wiring harness and switch the turn indicator “ON” to verify
illumination.
Front Position/Parking Lamps
The front position/parking lamps, 2, are located in the head lamp assembly.
Replace the bulb with an identical 12 volt, 5 watt bulb.
To change the front position/parking lamps, use the following procedure:
Switch all lighting “OFF”. Engage the parking brake, raise the bonnet,
and allow time for the lighting to cool if hot.
Disconnect the wiring harness socket from the defective bulb.
Unlock the defective bulb by rotating and remove from the head lamp
assembly.
Install the replacement bulb into the head lamp assembly, aligning the
locking tabs. Rotate the bulb to lock in place and connect the harness.
Switch the position/parking lamps “ON” to verify illumination.
